Agence Film Reunion, the Association for the Development of Cinema, Audiovisual and Multimedia was founded in December 2001 as part of the partnership between the Regional Council of Reunion and the French government (National Centre for Cinema, Regional Directorate for Cultural Affairs of Reunion). The Agence Film Reunion provides the following services : • Hosting of film shootings. Centralize and provide information regarding : locations, crew, scriptwriters, directors, producers, cast, extras and logistical services. Agence Film Reunion is a member of the Film France network. •Information of project developers and to oversee the Specialized Technical Committee sessions composed of experts and qualified professionals and submit reports of their technical analysis and votes to the Regional Council culture commission. Funds are paid directly by the Regional Council. • Coaching, monitoring and promotion of the audiovisual sector. The Agence Film Reunion is involved in international film markets, regional cooperation missions and regularly informs its partners with its website, newsletters, thematic letters, Facebook & Twitter. Regional co-operation in the Indian Ocean region is a priority. In addition, Agence Film Reunion may be brought to commission or conduct surveys, to make recommendations on training and organize writing residences. For the successful accomplishment of its objectives, Agence Film Reunion receives funds from the Regional Council of Reunion, the European Union and the Ministry of Culture (DRAC).
