THE YARD is a 100% French company founded in 2014 by Laurens Ehrmann and specialising in digital special effects services for films and series for cinema and streaming platforms.
With a team of international experience, THE YARD works with the biggest international studios (LucasFilm, Netflix, Amazon, Fox, Disney, Marvel…) and has contributed to major films and series (Indiana Jones 5, The Gray Man, Ford v Ferrari aka Le Mans 66, Enola Holmes 2, Wanda Vision, John Wick 4…).
Its teams develop tools and talents to provide creative expertise that meets the demands of the national and international markets.
In particular, THE YARD designed the visual effects for Chloé Zhao’s film NOMADLAND, which won a triple Oscar in 2021, and NOTRE DAME BRÛLE, winner of the 2023 César award for best visual effects.
Its objective has remained the same since its creation: to offer creative visual solutions using the best artists in the region and the most innovative technologies.
