Rod, a native of French Guiana, lives in Paris with his mother. When he receives news that his older brother Myrtho, a gold prospector, has allegedly been shot and killed in the rainforest, Rod returns to the land of his birth for the first time since he left as a boy. Along with his buddy, Gonz, he heads via river into the forest, determined to discover the truth about Myrtho’s disappearance.
