MARTINIQUE OFFERS ENDLESS ASSETS.

With an incomparable light, 300 days of sunshine per year, 180 km of coastline, known for its
beaches with turquoise waters, Martinique is also endowed with landscapes of mountains,
valleys, rivers, waterfalls, tropical forests, authentic fishing villages, dwellings period, Creole
houses, buildings of specific architecture, immense expanses of cane and banana fields, typical
cemeteries, terrestrial tropical fauna (roosters with shiny plumages, goats, manicous,
mongooses), fauna and flora underwater with a remarkable diversity of species, variety of
scenery, colors, identifiable places, such as Mount Pelée, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage
Site, Cap 110, Rocher du Diamant and viewpoints very specific.

Martinique is also a know-how, offering the opportunity to have service providers meeting the
needs of film and audiovisual productions, experienced technicians and actors, local production
companies ready for co-production, a digital sector, 2D animation, 3D, even post-production.

THE TERRITORIAL COLLECTIVITY

The Territorial Collectivity of Martinique, aware of the challenges of the sector, has included
in its orientations the development of cinema and audiovisual, as one of the priority axes of its
cultural policy, in order to increase the attractiveness of the Martinique territory, to support
creation in its diversity, authors, by promoting the emergence and support of new talents, to
strengthen social ties, to renew audiences through image education, to contribute to a better
dissemination of works in Martinique, but also at the Caribbean, national, international level,
to participate in the enhancement of its identity in the face of the risk of dilution linked to
globalization, to support the sector and to create jobs thanks to professionalization.
To promote the attractiveness of the territory, the CTM has acquired resources.

THE TERRITORIAL AID FUND

This fund, on a contractual framework with the CNC and the State, is devoted to the allocation
of residence grants, writing assistance, development assistance and production assistance.
Candidate projects for obtaining aid under this fund are submitted to a reading committee,
which meets twice a year: in May and November, with the mission of examining them and
issuing an opinion.

A FILM COMMISSION & A FILMING OFFICE

With, as head of the Martinique Film Commission, Gil ZOBDA, the Film Reception Office, in
place since March 2019, is able to welcome and support production companies wishing to film
in Martinique. Offers of services, such as pre-scouting of sets, pre-castings, proposals for
technicians, contacts with service providers, pre-authorizations with different institutions, can
greatly facilitate the process.

Present during the main events of the cinematographic and audiovisual sector, within the
network of film commissions, the Martinique Film Commission is at the disposal of
professionals.

CNC TAX CREDIT SCHEMES
Companies wishing to film in Martinique can benefit from one of the sections of the CNC tax
